This fascinating woodland garden is filled with colour and interest.  Brian and Nita enjoy giving visitors the grand tour and having a chat about plants and gardening ideas.  Some of the rare plants have interesting folklore stories ... the Toona sinensis is known as ‘bow wood’ because Genghis Khan reputedly used it for his weapons.  The lethal spines of Maclura pomifera were used for fencing corrals in North America.
